The first of these methods is the Enlighten Evolution whitening process, which can be carried out within our practice or at home, and includes a proprietary desensitising Tooth Serum toothpaste which helps prepare teeth for the whitening process. The Enlighten Evolution process utilises a peroxide based whitening gel which, when applied to teeth from within a tray, can brighten your teeth and eradicate years of superficial stains or discoloration. Another form of cosmetic tooth whitening which we provide here at Smilecraft is the Zoom Whitening method. This can also be carried out at home, but yields the most positive results when applied within our practice in a two hour session. This method allows patients to whiten their smiles by up to four or six shades, and can rid teeth of any superficial stains caused by smoking, drinking black tea, coffee, or red wine, or from eating highly acidic foods.
